Monroe school district expands through 29 attachments

The Monroe district enlarges by attaching 29 rural districts under the state reorganization law, with 23 areas joining, four others mostly, and parts of two more. Bond election May 22 for $975000 reflects districts already in Monroe, while some attachments take effect June 1 or June 15. Hearings May 14 and 16 address specific attachments and maps.
