Modern Minstrel Show draws capacity crowds again
The Lions Club City Band Minstrel Show opened to a near full house at the Junior High School Auditorium. Proceeds fund Lions projects for the visually handicapped and Band Shell improvements. The 13th annual event featured a full slate of numbers by end men and the 18 piece band under Allan Barnard with acts including Zeke, Figi, and a chimpanzee and bear on stage.
