Lee Mitchell completes his 19th year as Monroe High School head basketball coach guiding the Maroons to an undefeated season and the Wisconsin state title. His 271-135 career record includes seven Badger Conference titles and a 1947-48 Southern Ten crown. The state run featured wins over eight conference champions and capped by a Madison title victory.
