Milwaukee Celebrates Five Day Circus Festival
Milwaukee hosts a five day festival with a grand circus parade expected to draw half a million spectators. Ringling Bros. wagons arrive from Baraboo to join the parade with a Lake Michigan fireworks display on the Fourth of July. The Ringling circus performs at the Milwaukee Arena with Gov Knowles and Ringling North leading the parade. A Circus World Museum train from Baraboo will arrive Thursday. Local events include plays musicals and sports as a brewery sponsors over $300000 for the festival.
