Born underweight she spent weeks in an incubator and weighed 11 pounds 8 ounces last week before the operation. Doctors expect her to recover and grow into average size though cataract removal may come later. She should return home by Friday.

Falk declines to seek re election to school board
Incumbent Clarence Falk will not run for another term on the Board of Education at the district electors meeting set for July 26.
