Reeve Bokemeier 64 of 1610 14th St. Monroe died at 1 55 AM in St. Clare Hospital after a short illness. He founded Monroe Specialty Co. in 1948 and made dog ID tags a national product before selling in 1966. He lived in Monroe since 1927 after moving from Freeport with earlier work in banking and shoes. He is survived by his widow a sister a brother and several nieces and nephews. Services Monday at St. Nessy Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Three Hurt In Auto Mishap South of Monroe
Three people were injured in a one car crash 11:18 last night on County Trunk B southwest of Monroe. Chester R. Miller drove the car. injured were Thomas Wuthrich 14 Randy Isely 15 and Randy Goodman, all treated for facial cuts. A second crash two miles north of Monroe on Highway 69 injured Eugene Clark. A third crash at 3 a.m. today on 30th Street near Jeffrey Road left John Glynn with a cut requiring stitches.
