Monroe will name its 1964 Dairy Queen tonight joining eight other finalists for the county title at Juda this weekend. Nine finalists from New Glarus Browntown Belleville Juda Monticello Brodhead will be named, judged, and crowned in upcoming town events with cattle shows and a Dairy Queen banquet featuring Pat Richter and Jim Bakken as speakers.

Monroe police probe a break-in at the Swiss Wheel supper club discovered at 1 10 am by city tro lman Edwin Bandi entry forced through a north kitchen window. A 19 year old Rockford woman with her 19 month old child was arrested on stolen car charges and linked to the break-in. Two Rockford youths aged 16 and 17 were later taken into custody as suspects. Two trucks, Phillips and Smith, were ransacked in the Farm and Fleet lot nearby.

Albany resident Mrs William Hein was killed in a two car crash in Dane County on a highway north of Brooklyn. Husband William Hein injured with a broken shoulder and daughter Patricia hospitalized after the collision. An 18 year old girl, Joan Wilson, was shot to death in a Times Square area parking lot while talking with her sister Margaret, 15, and a woman acquaintance. Police said the bullet entered from above and a fragment grazed the sister on the arm. The sisters had attended a graduation party.
