Delegates Named To Auxiliary Event Slated for Milwaukee
Delegates to the Department convention to be held July 18 and 19 at Milwaukee were elected at the American Legion Auxiliary meeting on June 4. Elected as delegates were Mrs. Russell W. West, Mies. P J Connors, Earl Webster, Ed Niffenegger and Alfred Henning. Special prizes went to Mrs. Ray Dye and Mrs. Henning. The next meeting on July 10 at Recreation Park will include a picnic for members and families.

The Freeport Model Airplane Club postponed its annual demonstration at Monroe airport due to weather. The event will now take place Sunday June 15 at 1 p.m. If weather again fails, it will be rescheduled in the fall.
