Juda Post Office Dedication Set for Sunday

The Juda post office will be dedicated Sunday at 3 p m with the Juda Business Men's Club sponsoring. Speakers include Assemblyman C M Stauffer and Adolph Knutson. The event features the Juda high school band and a flag ceremony by the Juda Boy Scout Troop.

City Band Plans Concert Monday in Monroe

The Monroe City Band will perform Monday at 8 p m in Lincoln park saluting Flag Day. Vocal soloist William Rollins and accordion soloist John Beutel will headline under director Allan F Barrard. The 40 member group, sponsored by the city, rehearses or performs most Mondays and averages 12 appearances a year.

Miss Kubly Finishes Azores Teaching Post

Miss Marilyn Kubly completes a year teaching U.S. Air Force dependents in the Azores and plans to teach in Japan next year. She leaves The Azores today and will tour Turkey, Egypt, the Holy Land, and Libya before returning home on July 10.

National Guard unit to hold bivouac at Camp McCoy

Co B of the 32nd Division will leave Saturday morning for two weeks of maneuvers at Camp McCoy and bivouac Sunday afternoon through Thursday night. One hundred two enlisted men and six officers report at 5 30 a m at the Armory with a convoy north on Highway 69. Cavalry and mortar squads will undergo three testing phases and the period emphasizes tactics with minimal firing. Major Gen. Waldemar Breidster commands the division, known as the Red Arrow, which has reorganized from three infantry regiments into five battle groups. Nearly 20 000 men are expected to converge on the training reservation with Wisconsin and Michigan Indiana divisions supplying most personnel.

Three Die in Wisconsin Head-On Crashes

A two-car collision near Green Bay early today killed Alvin Vander Linden 47 Sharon Steene 19 and Leon Lott 19 all of Green Bay. Dennis Splitgerber 20 driver of one car was in serious condition. Gary Gray 13 of Baraboo also died after being struck on Highway 136 two miles west of Baraboo.
