Ship chaplain dies on North American in Cleveland

Mrs Gavey 91 Dies in Monroe Nursing Home
Flora Gavey aged 91 of Monroe died at 9 p m yesterday at Wagner nursing home from old age complications. Born Flora Brown in Scotland she came to the United States at 12 settling in Stratford Illinois. She married Frank Gavey in Magnolia Illinois in 1886 and they later moved to Monroe 50 years ago. Survived by son Harry Chicago three daughters all Monroe eight grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services Friday at 2 p m Stuessy funeral home with Rev Clarence Warfel Grace Lutheran officiating burial Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p m today.
