Carl Miller of Winslow Illinois ends a 35 year career teaching agriculture and guiding FFA. He mentored 35 State Farmers two American Farmers and two Illinois State Judging teams. Many former students work in farming or agribusiness and three former students now teach agriculture.
The Monroe Board of Education met April 30 1973 approving March 27 minutes and audited vouchers. They discussed budget recapitulation, building improvements including Lincoln Building rooms and high school repairs, vandalism incidents, and a plan to borrow 260000 for 1973 74 74 75 75 projects. Resignations of several staff members were accepted and diploma requests approved.
