Roger Jackson leads Tom's Silo to the championship of the Monroe Jaycees 16-inch Slowpitch Tourney at Twiting Park. They defeated Dave's Lounge 11-5 in the final as Jackson drove in three runs and Denny Zimmerman made three great catches to anchor the defense.

The Senior and Women's slowpitch leagues begin play at Twining Park after rainouts. Open Division women start with three makeup games at 7, 8 and 9. Classic and Open regulars play Tue Thu.
