Burglary Report At Juda Lumber And Fuel Co

Sheriff Roy Vetterli reports entry to Juda Lumber and Fuel Co was gained Tuesday night or early Wednesday. A wall behind a six foot safe was pried, a torch used to cut a hole, but no money was found. Contents were scattered. some office items may have been stolen. Entry method unknown. investigation lasted till noon with photographs.

Cheese Days Parade to Feature UW Band and Service Bands

A press conference announced for August 5 reveals the University of Wisconsin Band will appear at Cheese Days in September along with four major service bands including Fifth Army Band Chicago Great Lakes Naval Training Band and Second Marine Aircraft Band from Cherry Point NC. The lineup also includes Johnson Wax band and Swiss entertainers from Monroe and New Glarus. A press preview will be held August 8 at Marco’s Supper Club with media representatives.
