A Kantro Night benefit at Marco's Supper Club begins at 7 p.m. with a smorgasbord and entertainment to raise funds for the March of Dimes. Featured guest Boyd Dowler of the Green Bay Packers will speak to Monroe youths at the Community Center from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Also participating are Norm Dow and Stan Kemp, both UW football affiliates. The 7 p.m. stag event is open to area residents and proceeds go to the March of Dimes.

Census Takers Apply by Monday in Green County
Fifteen enumerators are needed for the 1970 Population Census to be held in the spring. Rolland Karlen, chairman of the Green County Republican Party, announced that applicants will be paid an hourly wage plus mileage and will be selected from those who apply. Peterson Vies For County Post In April Election
Clifton S. Petersen of Sylvester seeks a two year term as county board supervisor, challenging incumbent Chester Pinnow in the April election. A retired farmer since 1945, Petersen was born in Stoughton and has lived in Green County since 1932. He worked ten years at the Albany Condensery Plant, is married to Florence Kildow, and has two children and five grandchildren. He served in the Wisconsin State Guard in World War II and is active in Freemasonry and local Farm Bureau.

Israeli Jets Strike Arab Targets in Egypt and Jordan
