Rood Dies In Blaze At Dar-Vic Trailer Court
Victor C. Rood 55 died in a trailer fire at the Dar-Vic Trailer Court five and one half miles west of Monroe on Highway 11. The Browntown department fought the blaze two hours after a neighbor reported it. Rood was a trailer court owner and operator and had recently begun work as a tester with Green County DHIA. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, with services at East Viota Lutheran Church.
