Born Dec 29 1877 in Jordan Twp he married Katherine Galway Feb 18 1903 in Argyle. Survived by a daughter Leona Hyland seven brothers two sisters eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Services set for 9 a m tomorrow at Stuessy funeral home and 9:30 a m at St Victor's church with burial in Calvary cemetery. Rosary at 8 tonight.

A. L. Wagner of Monroe reports the death of his sister Mrs. John Slichter of Calona Iowa in a St. Petersburg Florida hospital from second and third degree burns suffered in a gas stove explosion. Her husband is hospitalized with burns from the same blast. Services will be held in Calona Iowa with the body flown there.
