Robbery at Northernaire Hotel Stuns Three Lakes Area
Night clerk Robert Gronbeck was stabbed and slugged by two armed men at the Northernaire hotel near Three Lakes at 5 a.m. They escaped with about $600 in cash from Gronbeck and the prior clerk. Webster Youth Dies of Wound in Accidental Shooting
George Webster a 14 year old of 2220 8th avenue was accidentally shot by companion Bobby Sonnenburg 9 in the Webster home kitchen as they prepared to go hunting. The gun fired from a .22 caliber rifle handed by Sonnenburg striking Webster in the chest. Coroner Wilbur E Deininger ruled the death accidental and the body was taken to Shriner Neushwander funeral home.
