Bowman Dairy Leader Dies at 92 Founder of Bowman Farm Dairy
C Harlan Bowman 92 founder and chair man of Bowman Farm Dairy died in a hospital after a brief illness. He started the dairy in 1912 with two cows, later expanding to more than 500 acres and a farm dairy plant employing about 125. Survivors include his son Duane president of the firm and brothers Roy and Robert.

Funeral for Mrs. Teehan set in Wisconsin church
Services for Mrs. Grace Keegan Teehan 57 of Monroe Wisconsin will be Friday at 9 in the Stues sy funeral home and 9 30 in St Victor's church with Rev E C McCollow officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. She died yesterday in St Clare hospital of a kidney ailment. She was born December 13 1901 in Washington Township daughter of John and Mary Ann Keegan. She worked 22 years at Bahr's variety store and was active in St Victor's Altar Society. She is survived by her husband Harry L Teehan a son Daniel Madison two grandchildren five brothers and two sisters. She was predeceased by a son in infancy a sister and two brothers.

Marvin Wuthrich was elected president of the Monroe Turn and Schwing club at the annual meeting last night at Turner hall. Fritz Wenger was named secretary treasurer, Ernest Ammon instructor and vice president, Albert Jordan assistant instructor, Fred Ruef women's instructor, Roger Wuethrich custodian of equipment, and Duane Schwartz member of committee. Members plan an instructors course in Cleveland on February 14 15. Family night is set for January 16.

A blaze swept the interior of a tavern in the Darlington hotel building early yesterday. Firemen were alerted at 4 am by hotel guest Harry Hentzner from Waupaca. smoke damaged a barber shop and threatened nearby businesses on Main Street including the bank, grocery, and furniture store. The fire is believed to have started from a short circuit in refrigeration equipment.
