Youth Captured In Bank Robbery
A 16 year old Minneapolis youth was taken into custody in Racine for questioning in a small town bank holdup earlier today. $618, the exact amount taken from the Franksville bank, was recovered from the youth who was armed with an air pistol made to resemble a .45. Three young men who offered him a ride to a bus station disarmed him after spotting the pistol.

Board Adopts Teacher Salary Index Proposal
After two years of study Monroe Board of Education approved an index based plan to replace the prior schedule for teacher salaries. The plan, modified from MEA input, sets raises from 100 to 400 dollars with step scales for bachelor, master and non degree teachers and head of family allowances. Some contracts may be reconsidered at the March 18 meeting as remaining cases are acted upon.

Swiss on Board In First Trading at Wisconsin Cheese Exchange
In Green Bay active trading today prices fell a quarter to half cent on several Swiss styles. Swiss cheese traded for the first time on the exchange with no sales. Uncovered offers showed price declines from 35 to 37 cents on 40 pound blocks and 34 to 35 on 60 pound blocks. Unfilled bids included long block Swiss at 41 and short block Swiss at 41, with other Wisconsin and State brands noted.

Wisconsin pavilion under way for New York World's Fair
Wisconsin begins building the state’s Indian heritage themed pavilion for the New York World's Fair at Flushing Meadows. Democrats expect large turnout as district caucuses select 20 delegates with full and half votes each. Orders Remap By Legislature Deadline May 1
Madison Wisconsin Supreme Court declares existing State Senate and Assembly districts unconstitutional. Legislature must redistrict by May 1 with a law signed by the governor. If not done, the court will execute a plan for the 1964 legislative election and call it.
