A two day Food Handling Institute will be held in the Monroe Municipal building Wednesday and Thursday. Paul Neubauer announced the program for hotel and restaurant permit holders in Monroe and surrounding towns. H Eugene Segner former Green County Highway Commissioner died at St. Clare Hospital at 3 p m after a coronary at home. He served 1957 to 1962 and worked for the State Highway Department in Madison for three years. He held roles in Lafayette County and Alaska projects, born 1907 in State College Pennsylvania. He married Edith Heller in 1926 at Galena Illinois. He was active in church and conservation.
