Charles A. Schindler 78 Dies in Edgerton Memorial Hospital

Charles A. Schindler a Monroe native and longtime Wisconsin banking and National Guard figure died early today at Edgerton Memorial Hospital after a five day stay and recent operations. He served 22 years with the National Bank of Edgerton retiring in 1963 and had 17 years with the Wisconsin National Guard, leading Monroe units and organizing infantry companies in World War I.
