Don Barry of Monroe and four thousand delegates join the 50th Anniversary Conference of the Order of the Arrow in Bloomington Indiana on the Indiana University campus. Armed holdup suspect captured after Wisconsin Rapids robbery

An armed man who robbed the Western Discount Store Service Station in Wisconsin Rapids and fled with $200 was arrested in Stevens Point after a police roadblock. A pistol was found in his car and he offered no resistance.

Wisconsin Traffic Toll Hits 630. 11 Die Weekend

The Wisconsin 1965 traffic toll rose to 630 as 11 deaths occurred in weekend crashes and two more today.
