Roscoe C. Smith Dies at 73 Farm Leader in Wisconsin
Roscoe C. Smith 73, former Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation president, died of a heart attack at home in Monroe. He led Farm Bureau for 30 years, helped found Green County Service Co., and served as state Farm Bureau president and Green County officers. He leaves a widow, four daughters, a son Richard, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Services are set for Wednesday at the Shriner-Neushwander funeral home with burial in Greenwood cemetery.

Harry R. Klassy 40 lifelong Monticello area resident died at St. Clare hospital after a long illness. He was born Oct 4 1914 in Washington Township and married Alice Escher in 1936. He farmed west of Monticello and was a St Victor's Catholic church member. Services Wednesday at St Victor's with burial in Calvary cemetery. Rosary Tuesday at Voegels funeral home. He is survived by wife two sons Robert and Donald, three daughters Mary Susan Cynthia, his father and step mother, two brothers Ken and Carl, and two sisters Mrs Clarence Elmer Sr and Mrs Waldo Zimmerman.
