Street Work Bids Opened for Main Street Improvements

Monroe Fire School Set to Open at Green County Fairgrounds
Monroe Firemen prepare for the 33rd Fall Fire School of the Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois Firemen's Association on Sunday August 24 at the Green County Fairgrounds. Registration starts 8 a.m. with classes for 2,000 to 3,000 visiting firefighters and demonstrations begin at 1 p.m. The event features a two story practice house and multiple exhibits while public admission is free for women and children with a $1 men’s registration to cover costs.
