Ulrike Ulli Wagner of Siegburg Germany arrived at O’Hare Friday evening to spend a week with the Lux family in Monroe and visit Monroe High School where she studied as an exchange student in 1964. She plans to see friends and the Monroe Evening Times while sharing her four campaigns at Bonn University and journalism interests.

Grizzly Attacks Kill Two Girls in West Glacier Park
In West Glacier Montana two 19 year old girls, Julie Helgeson and Michele Koons, were killed by grizzly bears while sleeping in the park near the Montana Canada border. Park Superintendent Keith Neilson cites lightning possibly spurring the attacks as 18 year old Roy Ducat was seriously injured. Dozens of firefighters battled fires sparked by lightning as bears remain at large.
