Severe storm tears through state causing injuries and fatalities
A cold front and squall line swept the state Tuesday bringing damaging winds funnel clouds and thunderstorms. A 13 year old Racine girl died and Nathan Potter 67 of Orfordville was injured when a metal storage building was blown into him near Wis 11. At the Potter farm the building and trees were damaged and Potter was treated at St Clare Hospital and released. Other damage occurred at the Segner farm on Wis 81 and near the Junction House with power outages and debris.
