Driver sentenced for pedestrian death in Wisconsin
Vernon Kloster, 47, Eau Claire, was sentenced to one to three years in state prison at Waupun after pleading guilty to causing the death of 82 year old John Saxer while he was under the influence. Saxer was struck Tuesday night in front of the Rusk County rest home. Kloster had three prior drunken driving convictions in Eau Claire County.
