Foreign Songs and Dances Planned at Turner Hall
A program of music and dances by 43 students from 14 countries visiting Monroe this weekend from the University of Wisconsin will start at 7:30 p m at Turner hall. The event will include Malayan pianist Miss Evelyn Mei Lin Goh, several Japanese acts, and performances from India Greece and Pakistan. After the program attendees may join in square dancing led by Carol Schindler.

Four Die in DeForest Crash In Dane County

Madison Men Die in Mishap From Electrocution
Jerome Coffman Jr. and Duane H. Ginger, both Madison water department workers, were killed when a high tension line arced to a crane lowering a ten inch water pipe during a rain storm. Coroner Sam Morris said no inquest will be held and noted the insulation was not defective. Funeral arrangements are handled by Schroeder and Ryan funeral homes.
