Monroe High School senior John Wasserstrauss will attend the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters annual meeting on May 8 1965 at the Wisconsin Center UW Madison campus. He will present Indimetry Interdimensional Measure, which won first place at the Southwest District Junior Academy of Science event at WSU Platteville earlier this year. He will be a luncheon guest in his honor and his paper will be printed in the Wisconsin Junior Academy of Science 1964 65 Annual Review.

Seven Teachers Resign As 108 Sign Contracts In Monroe
At a Monroe school board meeting last night seven resignations were accepted, 108 teachers signed contracts, and eight new contracts were authorized. Resignees include Floriana Bender and Charles Mowbray. Several teachers praised their time in the district. The board also approved use of cafeterias and facilities for Cheese Days events September 18–19 with cleanup costs. Budget items for a light installation at Arabat Ludlow Memorial Library and a 126 by 11 foot storage shed under the bleachers were authorized, with a concession stand included. The storage needs will protect equipment and supplies, with costs around 1,605.50 and 2,000 respectively.
