Breath of Life Campaign Begins in Monahans for CF Fund
The Breath of Life Campaign kicks off Monday in Monahans as the Lone Star Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation appeals for funds to help children with CF. Lena Law, campaign chair, notes CF is inherited, incurable, and fatal, but advances since 1955 have improved survival. The Foundation supports research and specialized clinical care through 121 U.S. centers, with Texas clinics in San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Austin, and Lubbock, urging generous local support.
