Ward County Courthouse Bond Case Up for Texas Supreme Court
The Ward County courthouse and jail bond case will be argued before the Texas Supreme Court next Wednesday. Judges Cameron and Howard, both of El Paso, will travel to Austin to present Monahans’ defense. The court had previously agreed to review the bond case while denying efforts to reopen litigation over Monahans being named county seat, a decision that stood in district court and the Civil Appeals Court.
