Council weighs contract vs resolution for SUG franchise
City council considers accepting an SUG proposed resolution in place of a contract detailing time restrictions for the franchise. Other agenda items include a street closure request on West 17th to 19th Streets, underground power installation depth and conduit rules, sight obstruction enforcement, a tourism promotion budget, and notices to residents about obstructed signage. The city manager notes a potential binding effect difference between a resolution and a contract. Family obituary notices conclude the text.
