Area lawmakers honored by Odessa College luncheon
Three state legislators will be honored July 2 by Odessa College for funding efforts during the 67th Texas Legislature. Sen. E L Short of To hoka Rep. Jay Gibson of Odessa and Rep. Jerry Cockerham of Monahans will attend a noon luncheon in the Odessa College Community Room with a prior 11 30 a.m press conference. The college notes their work helped secure funding for 1981 83 amid a push to restore LBB recommendations.
