Pioneer Day Set For Pecos Rodeo Opening Event

Boy Scouts Credited With Saving Lives In Sanderson
Rescue crews praise a local Explorer post of 16 and 17 year olds in Sanderson for rapid organization during the flood. The teens swam into rising water guiding and waking residents to safety and saving an estimated 20 to 25 children. Local sheriff and state highway department assisted as the town relies on volunteers.
