Bob Jones to lead stock show as 1982 dates set
Ward County livestock directors elected Bob Jones president for 1982 with February 26 through March 5 set for the exposition. Offiers named include Larry Hunt first VP Rex Pigman second VP Berry Cox third VP Donald Hunt fourth VP and Dale Wood secretary treasurer. New directors named include Johnny Robertson Rick McCurdy Chester Fine Jerry Markham Gordy Tamplin Bill Moss Bob Herrin Judd Kennedy and Bob Maples. The event will open with Ranch Breakfast and Horse Show February 26-27, downtown parade March 1 and Kids Kanine Karnival March 1. Weigh in and tagging March 2. rabbit capon goat shows March 3. lamb steer and barrow March 4. auction March 5. Dedicated to outgoing president Jess Anthony. Five minor rule changes adopted.
