Mrs Morris Discharged In Recorder Court
Mrs J B Morris of New Orleans was arrested on a Battle House employee's complaint for nonpayment of a hotel bill. In recorder's court she was discharged after Battle House officials declined to prosecute. Police said a fault of another led to her default. she fainted in court yesterday and was taken to a local infirmary.

Inspection trip to reorganize Gulf Mobile and Northern
R. V. Taylor and W. F. Owen began a full inspection voyage along the Gulf Mobile and Northern Railroad. They will halt in Louisville, Mississippi, overnight and reach Middleton, Tennessee, by Wednesday to complete the trip and formalize reorganization under new management.
Navy urged to add rear admirals to avert national calamity
Rear Admiral L C Palmer warned Secretary Daniels that even with 131 435 permanent Navy personnel the fleet will be understaffed. He called for 27 extra rear admirals now and six more by July 1 1919 to properly man the war organization. He noted two squadrons of 36 destroyers each lack designated commanders and five more squadrons are planned without commanders. In two months the U S will field two squadrons of 72 chasers in European waters.
