Sanborn County took second with 956 points and $100. Spink County placed third with 918 points and $75, marking Brookings second victory this year after the state fair at Huron.

Aged Man Injured by Automobile on Main Street
An elderly Woonsocket man named Bellows was struck near the old Open house when a car started slowly and he stepped into its path. He suffered facial bruises and a deep cut under the eye with no internal injuries. He was taken to Dr. Freyberg for treatment. McConnell, the driver, showed caution and did not blame him.
