Mitchell Corn Palace draws record crowds despite rain

Despite ongoing rain, Mitchell's Corn Palace drew large crowds as trains from Canton Sioux City Sioux Falls and other points delivered about 2000 visitors. A concert impressed the audience, with encores anticipated, while rain briefly scattered attendees but sunshine returned to finish the day strongly.
