Madison Mitchell Brookings Electric Line Revival Feared
Promoters of the Madison Mitchell Brookings electric line intend to revive the project after last year’s panic. A Granite Falls Minnesota to Madison route would link with twin cities and could be a paying prospect from the start. With improved finances after the election, financing an independent company seems possible if no existing steam road can be persuaded to build. The new railroad would inject life and business into Madison.
