Man pinned under three ton rock for two days in Cresbard

Henry Bechtold a Cresbard farmer near Cresbard South Dakota was pinned by a rock weighing three tons after it rolled onto his leg while he tried to sink it for plowing. He endured hunger thirst and exhaustion before he cut free with a saw and was found by children. Medical observers say his leg is badly lacerated but recovery is expected.

Florence North Dakota November 7 Gunder Tangen jailed at Watertown for shooting Will Bond during election night. Tangen intoxicated accused Bond of stealing valuables, bought a gun, fired at Bond after confrontation at his home and livery barn, wounding him in the hip. Train Strikes Traction Car Killing Man and Injuring Woman

PaPorte Indiana, November 7. John Wilson an otorman was killed and Mrs Edgar Austin seriously injured when a South Bend traction car was knocked from the track by a Lake Erie and Western passenger train at a crossing near the city. A dozen passengers suffered cuts and bruises in the wreck.
