Mitchell Club Hosts Reception and Musical at First Social Event
The Mitchell Club opened a winter social series with a Friday reception and musicale attended by about 150 guests. Mrs. Hitchcock led the music program and Mrs. Doyle managed refreshments as members and wives helped run the event. A young soprano and a strong lineup of soloists and duets delighted the crowd, with encore performances and praise for Miss Stansell and Miss Scott. The evening closed with refreshments and plans for Thanksgiving night gatherings, as members look forward to a busy season.
