The Adventists held sessions at the Mitchell Dakota camp grounds with Mrs S M Henry speaking to parents about virtue. Elder Milliman elected president as 17 ministers licensed or ordained for the coming year. German and Scandinavian meetings attract attendees.
Discussion on Seventh Day Adventists treating Saturday as Sabbath and their Friday sunset to Saturday sunset observance. Dakota Sabbath School reports $794 remaining for foreign missions, E G Hays elected president, Niagara Falls visit linked to Holy Spirit imagery, union Sabbath school in six divisions, Japan mission talks, Adventists plan more missionaries, $30 collected for foreign missions, ordination of Andrew Nelson at Union College charge by O A Johnson.
After a week of services the Seventh Day Adventists wrap up their nineteenth annual conference in Mitchell. Attendees, dispersed across the state, return home amid noted deep religious feeling and personal sacrifices to attend each year.
The rural schools held graduating exercises and a wedding ceremony for Barber and Foster was celebrated in Sioux City on Thursday.

The couple, after luncheon, planned a week in Omaha then a Mitchell South Dakota home. Barber is assistant postmaster at Mitchell.
Six prohibitionists met at the courthouse on Saturday to place in nomination a county ticket. J Sykes Wilson was chosen chairman and J E Wilson secretary. Nominations named J Sykes Wilson for senator C M Peck for representative C C Button for auditor Ed Hadley for register of deeds Murat Sayles for treasurer Fred Grevie for sheriff O E Harpel for superintendent of schools Miss Carlota Moyer. Provisions for probate judge states attorney justices of the peace and constables were not made.
