Dunham’s pocket book and $38 were found on Plew who was discharged two weeks ago after a quarrel. A Dunham scalp fragment disproves suicide. Mrs Dunham remains unconscious as Mr Dunham and a child lie in a single grave.
In St. Paul on February 14 the house approved the high license bill and sent it to the governor for signature. During debate the gallery was crowded and a motion to exclude spectators was quickly carried after concerns the crowd weight could cause a disaster.
Rose Daley, a servant from East Granby, traveled to West Suffield to visit the Burns family. She allegedly birthed a child, attempted to strangle it, then cut off the infant's head with a knife, destroying parts of the body in a stove and cellar. Mrs Burns found the head and the mother’s condition is described as doubtful.
