Resigned Pastorate in Town and Country Church
Frank Tomlin, longtime pastor of the Congregational church in Mitchell, resigns effective May 1 1904 citing nervous strain and a need for rest. He praises the church’s support, thanks members for gifts, and hopes his successor will continue to advance the church’s spiritual and material progress. The resignation was accepted by the church, with plans to appoint a successor without breaking services.
