iN H. E. Mayhew the real estate dealer of Letcher was in the city Wednesday. Mrs. Drake left for Kidder Missouri to stay a week. Mrs. Fesenfeld and 800 Glen arrived from Black Earth Wisconsin to stay with Mr. and Mrs. Dean.

Ed Grebe faces drunk and disorderly charge in police court

Judge McKinley fined Ed Grebe five dollars after a Thursday appearance for drunken disorderly conduct. The arrest stemmed from an assault on his wife on Main street as the couple traveled from their farm to town. Story notes their quarrel, a street confrontation, and that Mrs Grebe declined to prosecute. Sheriff Swindler later transported a prisoner from Baker township. A separate case involved Alfred Titze, 15, charged with stealing 319 dollars from James Weepie, amid insurance funds for a burned house.
