Davison County Adopts Five Districts In Redistricting

Davison county commissioners meet July 29 1899 adopt a resolution redistricting into five districts: Mitch ell wards and townships Rome Tobin Lisbon Prosper Mt Vernon Beulah Union Baker Mitchell wards Perry Badger Blendon. Bids for coal delivered to Mitchell at 7 05 per ton accepted from Fullerton Lumber Co and 7 04 by Davis Daniels. Bills approved including taxes, salaries, printing, and road funds. adjournment set for 1 pm and again sine die.
