County Must Pay Registration Expenses Judge Rules
Judge Campbell of the Fifth circuit decided that the county must reimburse the city for registration list costs. Rowley city clerk of Huron sued after the county board rejected his claim for money paid in compiling registration lists for the last election. The ruling favors Rowley and similar suits are pending in other counties awaiting this decision.
