Deaths Loren Hull Veteran Slater resident dies at home
Loren I Hull longtime Slater resident died Friday morning October 10 at his home aged 83. Funeral services led by Rev W F Roberts were held Sunday at 2:30 pm, with burial in Blazer City cemetery. A New York native born in 1830 he moved to St Clair County Illinois, married Mina Padfield, then moved to Clay County and finally settled four miles west of Slater in 1480 where he remained except for recent years.
