P M Zea aged 87 died at daughter Mre J L Winning’s home in Warrensburg on Tuesday October 14. Remains expected to reach Marshall by train Thursday morning then taken to Miami for funeral in many years. Survivors include daughter, Edward Zoa of Ohio, and Eunice Plourd 1% years old daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Plourd of Norton. Plourd family notes the body was brought home for burial in Colorado Springs after death Saturday night.

About 4 p m Friday a fire alarm rang at Matehal J MH Mitchell's nearby confectionery. Originating in the basement the blaze spread but was soon extinguished. The entire clock was damaged by smoke though water and fire saved most of the interior. Estimated loss about 40 dollars. store remained closed Friday and reopened Saturday.
