Deaths Daniel L Watts longtime Baline county resident

Daniel L Watts an elderly resident of Arrow Rock Baline county died Sunday October 26 at his home. Surviving are his wife and several children including Orrin Watts Napton banker John Watts California Wm Watts Missouri Lola K H Watts Marshall Mro Wm Odell of Clyde Center Mo and others. Born March 6 1917 in Ohio he lived in Kentucky Indiana and Missouri before settling in Arrow Rock. He married Ming Julia Mingham in 1848 and the couple owned a 170 acre farm near Arrow Rock. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Arrow Rock residence with burial in Arrow Rock cemetery.

Paul Hasenpluck a 20 year old from Noonoke Virginia died Sunday October 76 at 6 10 p m in Marshall after a month with typhoid fever He arrived in dying condition from Lexington and a physician was summoned His father was notified and planned to travel here Hasenpluck had been traveling for about six months and had recently come from Lexington Virginia

Golsmith Arrested for Grand Larceny in Slater Case

Golsmith was arrested in Slater and charged with grand larceny. He was brought to Marshall by City Marshal Butts on Tuesday afternoon and placed in jail awaiting life presumption, with a preliminary inquiry pending.

Saline County Sunday School Association Meeting Notice
